Karnataka Govt. will increase the tax rate on petrol to 35%, diesel to 24%, and liquor by 6% across 18 slabs from 1st April. Along with it, the stamp duty will be reduced to make households affordable.
The Swiss firm is planning a steel plant in Kadapa district with 10 MT capacity. Govt will provide the firm with all the basic infrastructure and transport facilities and iron ore, as the company is into power production as well.
